This weekend, the NASCAR convoy will roll into Kansas for another huge weekend of racing. We are now getting very close to the end of the season, with all three series coming down to the wire. We will, of course, talk about the Cup Series and how that is playing out, but for the purposes of this piece, we are going to stick with the Truck and Xfinity series with this article. They will both be racing on Saturday in Kansas. The trucks will go first with the Clean Harbors 200, while the Xfinity Series will have the Kansas Lottery 300 later in the day. Both races are huge in terms of the playoffs and the race to become champions, so let’s take a closer look inside both events, along with their NASCAR odds.
Truck Series & Xfinity Series Events for the Weekend | NASCAR Betting
Truck Series – Clean Harbors 200 – Saturday at 4 PM EST
We are down to the final 8 in the Truck Series and it is incredibly tight at the top. This race is wide open, and I would not want to be in the position of being forced to pick the champion this season. Instead, let’s look at some of the favorites for this race.
It is Austin Hill (+350) who is currently sitting at the top of the standings. The bookies have him in as the favorite for this race, which is no real surprise when you consider that he won at Kansas earlier this season.
Hot on the heels of the leader is Sheldon Creed (+375), who has 3 wins on the season, tied for the most among the 8 remaining drivers. He has not had a great time in Kansas, finishing 8th in his run there earlier this season. He needs to pick up his form if he is to win the championship.
Brett Moffitt (+500) is down in 5th in the driver standings, and while he is among the favorites to win on Saturday, it is worth noting that he has yet to win this season. He has had a few 2nd place finishes, though, including one at Kansas earlier in the year.
Xfinity Series – Kansas Lottery 300 – Saturday at 7 PM EST
There are now just 4 races left in the Xfinity Series season, the next 3 of which will decide which 4 drivers will compete for the championship in the final race of the year. The Kansas Lottery 300 is the next one up, so let’s take a look at a few of the favorites.
After a run that saw him win 5 races in a 6-week span, Austin Cindric (+250) has cooled off a little, although he is still 2nd on the NASCAR Xfinity Series standings. During that winning run, the only race he didn’t win was in Kansas, but he finished 2nd in that one.
It is Chase Briscoe (+275) who continues to lead the way on top, which is not surprising when you consider that he already has 8 wins on the season. He has had a rough couple of weeks, though, and has not been great in Kansas.
Justin Allgaier (+550) is sitting off the pace being set by the top 2 drivers, but he has also cooled off a little in the last 2 weeks. He needs a strong performance here to stay with the leaders, he had has a 5th and a 10th in his last two runs at Kansas.
