The final few weeks of the season are very often when things can begin to get especially tricky for bettors, specifically with teams that have already clinched a playoff spot. For those teams, there is very often the thought of resting some of their better players ahead of the playoffs. During these weeks, it’s always a good idea to take a look at the healthy scratches before jumping on in and making wagers. That said, with just one team from each conference getting a bye this season, we might see more teams continue to push hard until the end in hopes of landing that #1 seed. You are also going to see that some game times are still to be determined in Week 15, so also be on the lookout for that so that you do not miss a bet. With all of that out of the way, let’s now look at the biggest games in Week 15 of the season so you can bet against their NFL odds.
2020 NFL Betting Preview for Games in Week 15
Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts
The AFC South was a closely run contest last season, and we might very well expect more of the same this time around. The Houston Texans will feel as though they have a good shot at repeating as division winners, but it’s not going to be easy. These divisional games are going to be huge of things do go the same way as last season. It may be a bit of a stop gap measure, but the Colts brining in veteran QB Phillip Rivers in the offseason is sure to make things very interesting indeed.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons
While it is rather unpleasant business, it’s also somewhat fun to talk about coaches on the hot seat and which one will be first to go. You have to say that Dan Quinn is coming into this season on the hottest of all those seats, with many actually believing that the Falcons coach would have been let go at the end of last season. The Bucs are all in, as we already knew, but they just made another move, picking up RB Leonard Fournette off waivers. They are either going to be a force to be reckoned with or a complete dumpster fire.
Kansas City Chiefs at New Orleans Saints
I am certainly not making any bold predictions here, but could we be looking at a potential Super Bowl preview with this game? The defending champion Kansas City Chiefs are the overwhelming pick to come out of the AFC again, while the Saints are very much among the favorites in what is a pretty stacked NFC once again. It would definitely be fun to see Drew Brees get one more crack at adding to his lone Super Bowl ring, and I think these two teams would deliver an exciting Super Bowl. This game will serve as a nice little teaser.
San Francisco 49ers at Dallas Cowboys
Heading into the new season, there are a handful of teams who have a legitimate shot at leading the way in the NFC. You have to say that these two teams are in that group, so it is going to be interesting to see where they are both sitting at this late stage of the season. The 49ers will be looking to avoid the curse that sees the Super Bowl losers from the previous season missing the playoffs in the next, while the Cowboys will be trying to soar under a new head coach.
