Who do you all have as your pick to win the Super Bowl? It’s a question that football fan and bettors routinely ask one another prior to the start of the new season. There are always some obvious choices and teams that get a lot of love, and as much fun as it is to make a pick before the season starts, we can’t really get a very good idea of what is going to happen before the games are played. Even then, it sometimes takes a few weeks before we get a real idea of which teams are legitimate contenders and which are destined to be eliminated from playoff contention sooner rather than later. We also tend to have a dark horse or two emerge, much like the Tennessee Titans did last season. While it is way too soon to make individual game predictions, we can talk about the ones that stand out in the schedule. Let’s take a closer look at the interesting games from Week 11 that you can wager on and place your bets against their NFL odds.
2020 NFL Betting Preview for Games in Week 11
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks
This could prove to be a very interesting Thursday night game, as the NFC West has the makings of being one of the best divisions in football. The Arizona Cardinals appear to have their QB of the future in Kyler Murray, so look for him to make a leap forward in year two. The fact that they added DeAndre Hopkins as a weapon will certainly help the cause. The Cardinals still need to catch up to the 49ers and Seahawks, so this will be a very good test of where they are at in the bigger picture.
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
Since Tom Brady landed in Tampa Bay, we have all been talking about the Brees and Brady battle set to happen for supremacy in the NFC South. While that would seem to be the obvious discussion, can we really count out the Atlanta Falcons? Yes, they have had some serious issues over the past couple of seasons, but they seemed to settle into a groove at the end of last season. Was that a fluke or is this team ready to step up and be a contender again. If they can play well in divisional games, we might just see a 3-way battle for first.
Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens
If, at any time during the course of last season, you would have suggested that the Tennessee Titans would go further than the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs, you would have probably been laughed out of town. The reality, though, was that the Ravens tanked, and the Titans went all the way to the AFC Championship Game. Will history repeat itself this year? Only time will tell, but this should give us some indication of how good these two teams look.
Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings
There are some teams that are held to a higher standard than others in the NFL, with the Cowboys, Packers, and Steelers very much in that group. Those fans expect championships, and things get unpleasant when they don’t arrive. The pressure is squarely on the Cowboys coming into this season, as they have a team that should, on paper at least, be in the Super Bowl discussion. There are a lot of very good teams in the NFC, though, including the Vikings, so this one is huge.
